Gabieži Z/S

A small family farm where the fifth generation now calls "Gabieži" home - a homestead surrounded by forests and fields at the foot of Gaiziņkalns, Latvia's highest hill, where in Kalsnava parish the Sinkēvičs family has found its harbour of peace and inspiration. "Gabieži" farm obtained its legal status in 1991, and since 2013, when it received organic certification, it has committed its future solely to this kind of farming - gentle to the environment and animals - while also looking towards the latest technologies and thinking about innovative, energy-efficient, sustainable and biodynamic farming methods. Until now the farm's main activity has been livestock and fresh milk, but in 2021 we took on a new challenge and planted our first 12'000 asparagus plants!
